Undergraduate Admission Criteria (General)

 

 

 

  •  

  • Admission: notice/ test schedules are available at the UAP admission office during office hours. These are also available at the following link of the UAP website: www.uap-bd.edu.

  • Diploma: students may apply for admission provided that they have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and they can apply for their respective department only ( i.e A diploma student of CE can apply only in CE department.)  Any student can apply (SSC background from Humanities, Business studies or others)

  •  H.S.C. appeared candidates with GPA of 4.00 and above in SSC are eligible to apply for the admission test. However, they will be allowed to take admission upon furnishing HSC results which should meet the minimum requirements for admission in the respective program.

  • GPA bellow 2.5 is not acceptable for any type of public examinations.

  • Candidates with minimum GPA of 2.5 in five subjects in O level and two subjects in A level

  •  Study gap of maximum 2 years after HSC examination will be accepted (except Pharmacy department) and study gap of maximum 1 year after HSC examination will be accepted for Pharmacy.

Students must have Science background & skill in free hand drawing.

 

B.Sc. Engg. in Civil

 

Total GPA in SSC & HSC = 6.0, Total GPA in O & A level=6.0

With minimum GPA 2.5 in SSC (or equivalent)


(Candidates with minimum GPA of 2.5 in five subjects in O level and two subjects in A level)

 

Students must have Physics, Mathematics in HSC (or equivalent) and Chemistry either SSC or HSC (or equivalent).

 

B.Sc. Engg. in CSE     B.Sc. Eng. in EEE

 

Total GPA in SSC & HSC = 6.0, Total GPA in O & A level=6.0

With minimum GPA 2.5 in SSC (or equivalent)


(Candidates with minimum GPA of 2.5 in five subjects in O level and two subjects in A level)

 

Students must have Physics, Mathematics in HSC (or equivalent) and Chemistry either SSC or HSC (or equivalent).

Diploma students may apply for admission test provided that they have a diploma in Electrical Technology or equivalent with a minimum GPA of 2.50 in Diploma and minimum GPA of 2.5 in SSC (or equivalent).

 

Bachelor of Business Administration
B.A (Hons) in English
LL.B. (Hon's)

 

Total GPA in SSC & HSC = 6.0
Total GPA in O & A level=6.0
(Candidates with minimum GPA of 2.5 in five subjects in O level and two subjects in A level)

 

Students from any discipline can apply. Students will be assessed on English, General Mathematics, Logical Reasoning and General
Knowledge.

 

Bachelor of Pharmacy

 

Total GPA in SSC & HSC = 8.0
Total GPA in O & A level=8.0

Candidate must pass SSC/"O" level or recognized equivalents and HSC/"A" level or recognized equivalents in Scincen Group and obtain a minimum GPA 3.0 (in a scale of 5) without any additinal subject. 

 

Candidate must pass SSC/ "O" level or recognized equivalents and HSC/"A" level or recognized equivalents in Science Group and obtain a minimum GPA 3.0 (in a scale of 5) without any additional subject.
 

HSC/ "A" level:
The student must pass HSC/ “A” level or recognized equivalents with the following science subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics.
 

HSC/ "A" level Subject wise minimum required GPA- Biology 3.00, Chemistry 3.00, Mathematics 2.00

  

Notes for applicants in Graduate Programs

  •  

  • After completing your Application form, please come to Admission Office for collecting Admit card by paying taka 1200/- through bKash or by Bank (deposit slip is available at Admission Office) with submitting 2 copies of PP size of Photographs of student and Application Reference Number.

  •  

  • In case of bKash payment, Please keep the bkash Transaction ID and date of the bKash payment and show it to the Admission for confirming your payment.

General Notes for applicants in Graduate Programs

 

  • Applicants are requested to come to UAP admission office to collect the admit card.

  • Students having foreign degree must have equivalence certificate from proper authority.

  • Students must have minimum CGPA-2.5 in SSC/Equivalent HSC/Equivalent and Honors/Equivalent. For applying in M. Pharm, the applicant must have minimum CGPA-2.75 in B. Pharm.

  • For EMBA, the applicant must have minimum three years job experience after Graduations.

  • Applicant must be a Graduate of Civil for applying in Masters in Civil Engineerring.
