Founded in 1996, the business school has come a long way, having carved out a niche for itself as an institution committed to imparting high quality business education in the country. The mark of this quality is amply manifested by the academic rigors as well as the market relevance of our three programs: BBA, MBA and EMBA.

The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program consists of 130 credit hours spread in 41 courses and Internship project. Out of these 41 courses, 34 courses are general core courses, five courses are compulsory concentration/major courses, and two other courses are free electives. After completion of all the courses, students are required to undergo 12+4 weeks' Internship program in a business organization.

Click for DetailProfessor Mohammed Tareque Aziz, Ph.D has joined University of Asia Pacific (UAP) as Professor and Head of the Department of Business administration (DBA) on last 15th January’ 2019. After doing graduation in Business Administration (BBA) from Assumption University, Thailand (under a joint degree program with IUBAT) and Masters in Business Administration from North South University (NSU), he served in some of the leading retail companies of South Asia namely WESTECS, AARONG (a retail project of BRAC – world’s largest NGO), MGH Group and BRAC Bank Ltd. in senior management positions for more than 8 years. Dr. Aziz earned his PhD in Retail Marketing from University Utara Malaysia (UUM)- a globally prestigious AACSB Accredited University. Before joining UAP- Dr. Aziz taught in BRAC University’s BRAC Business School (BBS) and International University of Business Agriculture & Technology (IUBAT) as a faculty of business administration. In BRAC University he also contributed as the Head of Operations of BRAC Business School (BBS). Dr. Aziz also taught in University Utara Malaysia (UUM) in their faculty of international business. As a University teacher Dr. Aziz took graduate and post graduate level courses with multi-cultural audiences comprised of students from more than 20 countries.

As a recognition of his intellectual ingenuity in service industry, Dr. Aziz has the first copyright of “Service Quality Index (SQI)” from Government of Bangladesh. Dr. Aziz is an officially recognized academic quality expert by BRAC University for doing academic quality enhancement projects with University Grant Commission. Dr. Aziz has presented papers and attended conferences & seminars in countries like Denmark, India, China, Malaysia, Thailand, South Africa, Nepal, Singapore and UAE. Being specialized in post-graduate level teaching (MBA/EMBA), he has taught graduate and post graduate level courses in brand management, international marketing, service sector marketing, marketing research, marketing management, marketing strategy & policy, international business, cross cultural management and operations management. With keen academic interests in the areas of relationship marketing, brand management and service sector management his articles have been published in International Journal of Retail and Distribution Management (IJRDM), Asia Pacific Journal of Retail and marketing management, Journal of business administration & management sciences research, International proceedings of economic development and research journals, & International Post Graduate Business Journal, Malaysia. His research interests include relationship marketing, brand management, consumer behavior, small and medium enterprise development and retailing. Dr. Aziz defines himself as a detail-oriented and resourceful individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, combined with an understanding of complex marketing issues.
