In the study of literature, "drama" is an essential genre where students of English need to put focus along with other subjects of studies. Both the graduate and undergraduate curricula have many courses related to Drama. It is also worth mentioning that both English and Bengali literature have fantastic dramas that are studied worldwide to learn the intricacies of literary exercises and criticism. Drama is also one fascinating subject matter in study of literature which can engage students directly in form of action and fun. Therefore the activities of drama club in the department of English is not just an extracurricular activity, but rather co-curricular in nature and often overlaps with critical understanding of the genre.    

Giving students an exposure to the world of experience and performance rather than confining them in their textual knowledge has always been the motto of Department of English, University of Asia pacific (UAP), hence the department encourages students and faculty members to engage in different activities related to drama as an artform. Such activities are:
