Dr. Habibur Rahman Scholarship

Department of Pharmacy assigns advisor for each batch to monitor the progress of the students whether progress of the students are satisfactory or not. Besides progress, their achievement in case of academic ground is also monitored comprehensively, and there are several options for rewarding the performing students in forms of tuition fee waiver and special scholarships. "Prof. Dr. Md. Habibur Rahman Scholarship" is such a scholarship which is offered to top performing students, facilitated by joint collaboration of the department and the students' allumni association EPSA. The "Merit based Waiver" is awarded according to the UAP waiver policy that is applicable for all departments.
UAP has a tuition fee waiver policy which is given on the basis of semester GPA as per the following table.
In addition to the above waiver policy,
Professor Dr. Md. Habibur Rahman, a renowned name in the pharmaceutical field of Bangladesh, was one of the founders of Department of Pharmacy, University of Asia Pacific (UAP) and also served UAP as a guest professor. In respect to this great mentor and inspiration for many pharmacists, ESPA and the Department of Pharmacy rewards excellent students with special scholarships. The Scholarship is mostly for students having good performances in "Biopharmaceutics and Pharmacokinetics" courses, as it was the interest area and taught course by the late Dr. Habibur Rahman.
